What will you do

We are seeking a Senior DBA with expertise in Cassandra, YugabyteDB, and Neo4j to manage

and optimize mission-critical distributed database systems.
This role focuses on cluster health,

scalability, high availability, and performance for databases supporting fintech applications.

Job Responsibilities:

 Install, configure, and maintain Cassandra, YugabyteDB, and Neo4j clusters in

production and non-production environments.
 Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and replication across distributed nodes.

 Monitor cluster health, throughput, latency, and resource utilization; proactively resolve

issues.

 Perform capacity planning, sharding strategies, and cluster scaling.

 Implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies for distributed databases
Troubleshoot and resolve node failures, data inconsistencies, and replication delays.
 Work closely with application and infrastructure teams during releases and upgrades.
 Maintain cluster topology documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
 Participate in 24×7 On-call rotations to support production clusters

What are we looking for:
 Hands-on experience managing distributed or NoSQL databases.
 Ability to design, optimize, and scale distributed database architectures.
 Ownership of cluster performance, reliability, and failover strategies.
 Strong expertise in Cassandra and/or YugabyteDB cluster administration.
 Experience with Neo4j graph database operations.
 Solid understanding of distributed system concepts: replication, consistency, partitioning,
fault tolerance.
 Knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting tools for distributed clusters.
 Experience working in high-availability, 24×7 production environments.
 Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.

Education Qualification - Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, B.Tech/ M.Tech) or any
equivalent degree/course.
