Algotale- Financial Business Analyst

Role: Finance Business Analyst (Contract)

Experience: 7 yrs+

Location: Remote (UK Shift)

Core Skills (Must Have):

Strong Finance Business Analysis experience (not Technical BA)

Excellent understanding of finance processes and terminology

Experience working closely with Group Financial Controllers and Finance Leadership

Finance process optimisation and transformation

End-to-end Finance Process Analysis & Redesign

Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

General Ledger (GL), Reconciliation & Financial Reporting

Strong stakeholder management within Finance teams

Experience supporting finance transformation initiatives

Preferred Skill:

Experience with Access Dimensions (Accounting Platform)

Good Alternative:

Candidates with a strong Finance BA background and hands-on finance transformation experience, even if they have not worked on Access Dimensions.

Project Overview:

Improve and redesign existing finance processes before downstream data and reporting transformation.

Work closely with Finance and Data teams to structure finance processes for integration into Databricks/Data Lake.

Enable clean financial data, improved reporting, and analytics.
