TikTok Design Team is to provide first-class user experience for hundreds of millions of users around the world, thereby helping them create and express better, discover the diversity and beauty of the world, break down more barriers, and build bridges between people. We are an international design team with Product Designer, Creative Designer, Visual Designer, Content Designer and Localization Expert from all over the world working together to make every impossible possible.

Responsibilities
- Design TikTok’s AI products and tools from concept to launch.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to build a trustworthy, user‑centric AI experience.
- Understand business goals and user needs; drive C‑side design from logic mapping to final implementation.
- Stay current with AI interaction trends and help define design standards for AI products.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) in daily workflows to boost efficiency and quality.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's degree in HCI, AI, Computer Science, Design, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Strong interaction and UI skills; proficient in Figma and familiar with iOS/Android design guidelines.
- Frequent user of AI products with a clear understanding of AI capabilities and interaction paradigms.
- Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and learning‑oriented.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Passion for AI product design, curiosity, and a global perspective.

Preferred Qualifications
- AI product design internship or portfolio/case study.
- Skills in visual, motion, or user research design.
- C‑side product design experience and familiarity with component‑based systems.
