Job description

CoreTrust helps organizations activate value faster—and get more out of every dollar they spend. Through enterprise-scale purchasing power, a curated supplier network, deep category expertise, and data-driven insights, we enable organizations to make more informed and strategic procurement decisions, accelerate savings, and drive stronger business performance. Today, more than 4,000 organizations rely on CoreTrust to simplify sourcing, reduce complexity, and unlock measurable value across critical spend categories.

We are looking for a builder-oriented AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI solutions that solve real business problems and deliver measurable value.

This role is focused on bringing AI into production – not training models or conducting research. You will work directly with business leaders to identify high-impact opportunities and translate them into scalable AI applications, including AI agents, copilots, and intelligent workflows.

Success in this role looks like AI solutions deployed into production that drive measurable business impact, strong adoption across teams, and the development of scalable, reusable capabilities embedded into CoreTrust operations.

You will leverage tools like Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Studio, Snowflake, dbt, and workflow orchestration platforms to build solutions that integrate seamlessly into our operations and drive enterprise-wide adoption.

If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, enjoy turning ambiguity into execution, and are motivated by delivering tangible outcomes, this is a unique opportunity to shape how AI is applied across an organization.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy AI-powered solutions

  • Build AI agents, copilots, and intelligent workflows using Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Studio
  • Deliver production-ready applications, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and automation tools

Translate business needs into scalable solutions

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases
  • Focus on solutions that drive measurable ROI and operational efficiency

Integrate AI into the enterprise ecosystem

  • Connect AI solutions with enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake
  • Develop and manage data transformations using dbt
  • Embed AI capabilities into internal tools and applications via APIs

Automate and optimize workflows

  • Build and orchestrate workflows using tools such as n8n or similar platforms
  • Improve process efficiency through intelligent automation

Operate with strong engineering discipline

  • Deliver scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions
  • Track work within agile frameworks using tools like JIRA

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–7+ years of experience in AI engineering, data engineering, or software development
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI, or Azure AI Foundry
  • Strong experience working with Snowflake and dbt
  • Proficiency in Python and experience building and consuming APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver production-grade solutions

Preferred

  • Experience building AI agents, copilots, or conversational applications
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as n8n
  • Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices and production deployment patterns
  • Relevant Azure certifications (AI-102, DP-203, or similar)

Core Capabilities

  • Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions
  • Strong focus on execution, delivery, and measurable outcomes
  • Effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to balance speed with engineering rigor
