AI Engineer - Agents with Vertex AI (SDLC Focus)

What would help you succeed:

• Solid experience with GCP and Vertex AI (Gemini, Agent Builder, embeddings, and deployment).
• Proven background in Python development and deep understanding of the SDLC (Git, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews).
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based applications, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, RAG, and agent orchestration.
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, ADK) and LLMOps best practices.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI agents on Vertex AI (Agent Builder, Gemini, Pipelines).
• Ability to develop agentic workflows for the SDLC: code generation/refactoring, automated testing, PR analysis, and technical documentation.
• Skill in integrating agents into engineering ecosystems (Git, CI/CD, Jira) via function calling and MCP.
• Experience implementing RAG over internal knowledge bases using Vertex AI Search and embeddings.
• Ability to evaluate and monitor production agents (metrics, evals, guardrails, cost, and latency optimization).
• Familiarity with security, auditability, and compliance/governance in regulated environments (e.g., BACEN, LGPD).
• Experience in the financial sector or highly regulated environments is a plus.
• Google Cloud certifications (ML Engineer, Cloud Architect) are a plus.
• Experience with MCP and multi-agent architectures is a plus.
