YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and passionate candidate for the position of Process Engineer in the Metal Deposition module of the FEM–AG300 organization. The role involves supporting the Engineering and Manufacturing teams, with a focus on managing and controlling micro- and nano-fabrication processes for metal thin-film deposition, including Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and electroplating processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the robustness and manufacturability of the processes with recipe optimization, process window and robustness tasks
• Sustain manufacturing process and equipment troubleshooting
• Monitor process performance and yield with SPC, defect analysis and FDC
• Startup new equipment and perform process qualification
• Prepare and optimize operative procedure and work instruction
• Troubleshoot excursions and drive root-cause analysis (8D) to restore process stability
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
• Master’s degree in material science, physics, chemistry, engineering or related fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good ability to analyze complex data and use tools for statistical analysis
• Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
• Motivation to work in a dynamic environment with different teams and external suppliers
• Teamwork attitude
• Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and microfabrication processes
