Job Title: AFRICOM-All Domain Exercise Planner

The Opportunity:
As an All-Domain Exercise Planner, you will synchronize complex operations across land, air, maritime, cyber, and space domains. You will help AFRICOM J37 integrate multi-domain operational concepts into exercises and ensure that all warfighting functions and capabilities are represented.

Responsibilities:
-Plan and coordinate exercises that integrate kinetic/non-kinetic effects and multi-domain capabilities.
-Work alongside Component Commands, Joint Staff, and interagency partners to design MSELs, objectives, and operational vignettes.
-Develop domain-specific injects enabling realistic replication of contested and complex operating environments.
-Conduct analysis of exercise results and integrate lessons learned into future planning.
-Produce high-quality briefs, updates, and assessments for AFRICOM senior leaders.
-Integrate AI, data-driven tools, and advanced modeling into exercise design.
-Support simultaneous planning/execution at multiple events or locations, as required.

Qualifications:
Required-
-Master's degree in a related field and 3 years specialized experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years specialized experience, or 10 years of specialized experience.
-7+ years in Joint planning, multi-domain operations, or CCMD-level exercise design.
-Familiarity with Joint Planning Process (JPP), JELC, and Joint Doctrine.
-Strong writing and briefing skills.
-Experience working across classified and multinational environments.
-TS/SCI clearance required.

Desired-
-Experience with emerging technologies, targeting processes, or advanced modeling tools.
-Knowledge of global posture, cross-component integration, and operational art.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
