Description
In this position, you will be responsible for manufacturing research and development to solve complex manufacturing problems that have direct impact to final product cost, quality and delivery of Desktop products. You will have the opportunity to work under broad goals and objectives, exercises judgment within general defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications
BSME equivalent (MSME, MSIE desired), majors on Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
Direct experience leading any of the following functional engineering teams a plus (ME, EE, TE, DFX, Etc.).
Required to understand and tolerance stack ups for assemblies and part level.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in introducing products into manufacturing, or high volume production a large plus.
Excellent project management skills, experience working in a matrix organization.
Shown bottom line project management experience, e.g. Planning, Cost, & Delivery, etc.
Experience working with International OEM partners.
New product introduction and Manufacturing Operations experience desired.
Consistent record of cost reduction, project management and engineering design required.
Solid understanding of GD&T principles a plus.
Working knowledge of pneumatics, servomotors, PLC and PC-based control systems a plus.
JMP, Minitab & Six Sigma experience a plus.
Coding skills, and website front-end development is plus.
Able to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment.
Learning agility with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
