Description

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will design, develop, and scale precision assembly and measurement processes that directly shape the quality and reliability of Apple products.

You'll lead the research and development of novel automation technologies, own complex engineering challenges from concept through high-volume production, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and global manufacturing partners to continuously raise the bar.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering fields
Minimum 3 years experience in automation equipment design, machine qualifications (DFM review), and advanced manufacturing process
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment and operate independently under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of pneumatics, servo motors, robotics (4/6-axis), glue/adhesive dispensing, AOI/CCD (vision/laser), pick-and-place, PLCs, and PC-based control systems is a plus
Proven experience with DOE, failure analysis, and statistical process control; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T
Experience with JMP and Six Sigma methodologies; Python scripting for data analysis and automation is a plus
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and an understanding of how ML/AI can be leveraged for smart manufacturing applications
Proficiency in tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies
NX CAD experience is a plus
Vietnamese and Mandarin language skills are highly preferred
