Job description

The Advanced Hardware Engineer develops, maintains, and improves electronic hardware for fire alarm and life-safety systems. The role covers hardware design, verification, EMC compliance, product safety, certification support, and lifecycle management. The engineer works closely with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver reliable and compliant products. Key Responsibilities - Develop hardware architectures, schematics, and design documentation. - Design analog and digital circuits, including microcontroller-based systems. - Support PCB layout, design reviews, and product integration. - Ensure compliance with EN 50130-4 (EMC) and EN 62368-1 (product safety). - Conduct EMC analysis and support pre-compliance and certification testing. - Investigate and resolve hardware, EMC, and manufacturing issues. - Maintain released products, manage component obsolescence, and implement design improvements. - Develop and maintain test setups and Pytho...
