Responsibilities of an RN Unit Manager:

  • Assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing daily nursing operations
  • Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families
  • Addressing and preventing concerns from family members
  • Assisting with staffing management through training & mentoring

Qualifications for an RN Unit Manager:

  • Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required.
  • Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required.
  • One (1+) years nursing experience required with prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.
