What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise, train, and guide Hotline support staff
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state requirements and agency policies
  • Track law enforcement reports for entries into the central registry
  • Review Background checks for accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as the Security Administrator, managing user access and permissions
  • Oversee daily office operations, track workloads, and assign tasks
  • Coordinate purchasing and monitor program equipment and financial needs
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners, including law enforcement and legal representatives
  • Analyze data to support program evaluation and performance improvement
  • Provide backup support to Office Specialists when needed


 

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: At least one year of post high school coursework or experience in: administration, office management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis and implementation, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields or in a field related to the programs or functions of the employing agency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience supervising or leading administrative support staff
  • 1+ year experience in human services, child welfare, or protective services
  • 1+ year experience managing office operations, purchasing, or data reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong understanding (or willingness to learn) of child/adult protective service laws
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication
  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and make data-informed recommendations
  • High attention to detail, especially in compliance, documentation, and recordkeeping
  • Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills
