<img src="https://secure.neogov.com/images/AgencyImages/jobposting/1257/jobpostings/image/20250630070514_SCSOS Banner short (003).png" alt="" style="width: 1214px" class="fr-fic fr-dii"><br><br>This position offers the opportunity to play an important role in maintaining the integrity of the State's official records while providing outstanding service to businesses, local governments, and the public.<br><br>The Administrative Program Specialist will process, review, and maintain filings for the following program areas in the Office of the Secretary of State:<ul><li>Employment Agencies</li><li>Business Opportunity registrations</li><li>Cable Franchise filings</li><li>Municipal Annexations </li><li>Trademark registrations and renewals</li><li>Retention for program area</li><li>Provide backup coverage for service of process</li><li>Provide backup coverage for the agency receptionist</li></ul><br>A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.<br>A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.<br>Proficient in basic computer skills.<br>Ability to communicate effectively.<br><br>Additional Requirements: <br>Two years of administrative experience in a professional office environment.<ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>The starting salary for this position will be $40,000 - $45,000 depending upon experience.</li><li>An acceptable review of your past employment history, personal references, and other sources, including, but not limited to, the criminal reference check which will be conducted by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).</li><li>When applying for this position, the electronic state application must be completed in its entirety.
