Apply to this jobAn international non-governmental organization currently implementing a program to improve the participation of key Nigerian stakeholders in electoral and political processes is looking for Nigerian citizens to fill positions within its offices in Abuja, Nigeria. These stakeholders include: political parties, election authorities, media and underrepresented groups such as women, youth and persons with disabilities. The specific objectives of its program are to strengthen capacity of domestic observers and party agents to monitor and state process. Enhance the democratic role and use of new and traditional media in the political process.
The AA reports to the country director:
Responsibilities:
Assist the office manager in the following:
Planning of meetings organized or supported by the organization.
Take minute of internal meetings.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive filling system.
Coordination of staff and visitors hotel and travel plans.
Coordination of procurement of goods and services and store management.
At least 1.5 years work experience in a similar positions.
Experience working with an NGO or internationally recognized institution.
Preference will be given to candidates with either a finance and or IT background.
Excellent written and spoken English
Demonstrate ability to priorities task and ensure follow through.
Ability to negotiate and relate with people
Demonstrate intergrity and transparency.
