Job description
<undefined>At District One Traffic Signals, prepares purchase orders, requisitions, and receipts utilizing the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS). Orders equipment, materials, and contract items using purchase orders. Acts as a liaison for the procurement card program. Reviews employee work time daily using the Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS) system.Creates work requests in HMMS from complaint forms reported by internal and external resources. Serves as point of contact and dispatcher for customer service calls that come in to the Signal Shop. Compiles and composes all required information for monthly reporting such as the safety reports, vehicle/equipment reports, and traffic engineering reports. Reviews overtime reports. Maintains Signal Shop inventory in the TEAMS database. Performs monthly reconciliation of the Signal Shops inventory. Tracks budget expenditures. May be required to track signal shop expenses vs. budget for signal shop expenditures using excel. Coordinates with District HR on HR related matters and processes, enters HR actions such as internal and external hires, leave of absence, etc into the appropriate e-form. Informs unit employees on policies andprocedures, safety issues and the use of department computer software/programs. Maintains OSHA files and reporting. Schedules all internal and external training for employees. Makes reservations for employees when working or training out of town.</undefined><undefined>A high school diploma and six (6) months of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is&nbsp; required.</undefined><br><br><undefined>The physical demands for the essential functions of this position include sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods and working on a computer.May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside of normal work schedule, especially during inclement weather and/or otherdepartmental-related emergencies.
