Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Asian & Near Eastern Languages - Mandarin Chinese (Intermediate and Advanced Courses)

Position Start Date: September 1, 2026

Required Degree: 

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Degree preferably in Chinese language and literature or second language teaching.

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Experience: 

Experience in teaching Chinese as a second language at the college level preferred.

Duties/Expectations: 

Teach 200-, 300-, and 400-level Chinese language courses. Manage Chinese Culture Night and Chinese Language Fair activities. Adjunct instructors are expected to follow the department-approved curriculum, hold weekly office hours, and attend occasional training meetings
