Job Title: Adjunct Researcher - Chemistry & Biochemistry - Research Johnson/Michaelis Lab

Position Start Date: November 2, 2026

Required Degree: 

Master's or PhD in Chemistry.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

2-3 years of Chemistry lab experience (post-undergrad) working with terahertz generation materials.

Duties/Expectations: 

  • Develop, construct, and test layered structures for generation of terahertz light.
  • Develop new methods to characterize output from terahertz generation materials
  • Study using terahertz light to excite chiral motion in materials
