The Department of Kinesiology and Public Health is now accepting applications for part-time adjunct professors for the B.S. in Public Health and MPH programs - Fall 2026. Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will possess practical training and teaching experience in the area of public health. Preference will also be given to candidates with research or public health practitioner experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach 1-2 courses per semester in an in-person, lab, or online format.
Provide feedback to students via online learning activities and assessment of assignments submitted through the Learning Management System (i.e., Canvas)
Demonstrate excellent communication, accountability, and initiative, along with a strong Christian commitment and interest in the integration of faith with learning.
Hold a Master’s degree in Public Health. A doctorate in Public Health or a related degree with an MPH is preferred.
Maintain current certification in the area of expertise.
Possess a commitment to high-quality instruction in an in-person or online student-centered environment.
Hiring Range: Adjunct per unit rate ranges from $1,338/unit - $1,894/unit
