The College of Business is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in-person BCOM 3330 Business Communications courses for the Fall 2026 semester.

The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.  ​

Responsibilities:

  • Teach up to two undergraduate Business Communications courses per semester.
  • Maintains accurate records, posts grades (mid-term and final), and submits attendance reporting as required.
  • Provides academic mentorship and support to students.
  • Post and maintain office hours.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by department head.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Masters in Business Communications or closely related field.
  • No experience required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use virtual technology and related  software to support online teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Business Communications.
  • Professional experience in the field of Business Communications.
  • At least one (1) year of previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
