Adjunct - History

Biola University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the History Department, to begin August 2024.

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate Core Curriculum History courses.

Qualifications: minimum required education is a M.A. in History though a Ph.D. in History is preferred.

Biola is committed to hiring faculty who can contribute to an informed understanding for the Core Curriculum History courses in World Civilizations I & II and U.S. History I & II. Biola is committed to seeking faculty who can contribute to diverse understandings and perspectives. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively with diverse ethnically diverse populations, female and male students and colleagues, and to integrate the Christian faith content and issues into their teaching. The ability to articulate how they integrate the Christian faith and History with their teaching is paramount to successful candidacy for the position.
