The Department of Nursing is now accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the B.S. in Healthcare Management. Hiring Range: Adjunct per unit rate ranges from $1,260/unit - $1,785/unit
Preferred candidates will possess teaching experience in the area of informatics, healthcare administration, business, information technology. Preference will also be given to candidates with leadership and healthcare administrative experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Teach 1-2 courses per semester in an in-person format.
● Provide feedback to students via learning activities and assessment of assignments submitted through the Learning Management System (i.e., Canvas)
● Demonstrate excellent communication, accountability, and initiative, along with a strong Christian commitment and interest in the integration of faith with learning.
Qualifications:
● Hold a Master’s degree in business, healthcare informatics, healthcare management/administration, or a similar area. A doctorate in business or a related degree is preferred.
● Maintain current certification in the area of expertise.
● Possess a commitment to high-quality instruction in an in-person student-centered environment.
