Job Description:

Fairfield University's College of Arts and Sciences is soliciting applications from qualified candidates holding Master's or Ph. D. degrees in Physics or related STEM fields.
 

Courses taught by adjuncts are for students at the beginning undergraduate level. Instructors are mainly needed to teach sections of General Physics and General Physics laboratories.  Also of immediate interest are instructors who would like to teach courses for non-science-majors, such as Astronomy, Cosmology, Light & Color, Sound and Music, Physics of Sports, Energy and the Environment, Science and Technology for Future Presidents, and similar.  Classes will preferably be taught during the day, but a few sections may be arranged to be offered in the evenings. From time to time, upper-division physics may be available for adjuncts with proper qualifications and interests. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have something of interest to STEM students highly related to physics and applied physics.


Requirements:
A Master's degree or higher is required.
