Summary

Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine, located in Miami Shores, FL, between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, invites applications from dynamic candidates for an adjunct faculty position to teach a four-credit Histology & Cell Biology with Lab course, in the fall 2026 semester (August 24 through December 11, 2026).

Essential Functions

• The primary responsibilities of adjunct faculty will be to teach this in person.

• Administer and grade assessments utilizing ExamSoft™ testing system, report grades in the Canvas Learning Management System, proctor examinations in person, provide student advisement, and

• Adhere to BUSPM protocols in the administration of the course.

Qualifications/Requirements

• A PhD degree is preferred, although other appropriately well-qualified candidates may be considered.

• Previous experience teaching in this field in a professional medical school setting is preferred.

• A strong commitment to teaching a diverse population of medical students is highly sought. Review of applications will start immediately and continue until the position is filled.
