Responsibilities:

  • Provide a student-centered learning environment which enables students to attain success.

  • Remain current with trends, techniques, and advances in technology that are applicable to the program.

  • Maintain open and timely communication with students and the University.

  • Provide students with appropriate guidance regarding academic excellence and attendance.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Dean or Chair.

  • Maintain and submit accurate and timely reports for student grades.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education 

  • PhD or Master's degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to students.

  • Ability to work in a highly diverse environment.

  • Provide a positive student-centered atmosphere with patience and understanding.
