VMSC Emergency Medical Services is a nonprofit EMS organization dedicated to making a difference one day, one call, one life at a time. Founded in 1933 by Dr. Frank Boston, a pioneering physician and veteran, VMSC has grown into one of Pennsylvania’s leading providers of mobile healthcare.

Our purpose is to deliver comprehensive mobile health services and innovative pre-hospital care to the communities of the Delaware Valley. We proudly serve Montgomery, Philadelphia, and Delaware Counties through emergency response, interfacility transport, mobile integrated healthcare, and community paramedicine. VMSC EMS Training Institute provides EMT, AEMT and Paramedic education approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and aligned with national standards. Our programs prepare students for NREMT certification and careers in EMS through classroom instruction, skills labs and clinical experiences.

Our Adjunct EMS Instructors play a key role in preparing students for success in certification exams and field practice. We are looking to add instructors to our team to teach classroom, lab and/or clinical components of our EMS programs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide instruction in EMT, AEMT and/or Paramedic courses as assigned
• Demonstrate and evaluate EMT skills and scenarios
• Provide feedback and mentorship to support student success
• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania EMS regulations and program policies

What You Bring

• Pennsylvania Paramedic certification
• Pennsylvania EMS Instructor certification
• At least 2 years of recent EMS or emergency/critical care experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS required for Paramedic-level instruction
• Strong communication and organization skills
