JOB SUMMARY

Marymount University seeks to build a pool of qualified instructors to teach different Art History courses. The position(s) involve teaching one or two classes per semester. Art History courses include a two-semester survey of world art, or an advanced class, preferably in non-western art. Qualified applicants will be contacted when the need arises.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach designated courses and must be committed to program development and monitoring course content and course implementation.

  • Maintains appropriate office hours and advises students on coursework.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education                                     

  • Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits directly related to teaching field.

Compensation/Benefits 

Adjuncts receive remuneration on a semester basis, and may range from $1,200 - $3,600 per semester, depending on course(s) taught.

They may make their own contribution to a 403b retirement plan.
