This actuarial role is a leader within the LTC Experience, Research and Development team. The primary goals of this team are to provide experience-based support for the LTC actuarial projection, pricing and valuation areas, maintain and enhance the actuarial experience data warehouse, support other functional areas that have limited actuarial, risk, and LTC business knowledge, and to develop appropriate metrics to monitor and mitigate emerging Long Term Care insurance risks. RESPONSIBILITIES • Inform LTC actuarial leaders and the senior leadership team of the actuarial assumption development process and emerging experience trends • Provide leadership in the development, implementation and governance of change management standards for LTC actuarial models (pricing, valuation and projections) • Engage with Experience, Research and Development team members to lead projects and generate ad hoc and standard experience studies and analysis • Provide support for in force management and new product introductions • Be able to respond to questions from senior leadership, auditors, consultants, reinsurers, and other interested parties BASIC

• Fellow in the Society of Actuaries • 10+ years of actuarial experience • Experience with actuarial projection, valuation and pricing models • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior leadership • Superior problem solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • 5 + years of relevant work experience within LTC insurance industry • Strong programming and actuarial modeling skills • Able to manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities • Ability to document processes well • Attention to detail, strong focus on accuracy and ability to review actuarial processes • Project management skills
