Job description

Manulife is looking for Actuarial Specialist to support diversified and ongoing Actuarial team in HK & Macau office.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate and assist a wide range of financial optimization initiatives on both inforce and new business portfolio including but not limited to par management, reinsurance, investment, policy review, modelling enhancement, and etc.

  • Enhance pricing and valuation models.

  • Support regular experience monitoring on policyholder behaviors and claims.

  • Support inforce management on initiatives to improve KPIs related to persistency, medical claims, etc.

  • Enhance the process of tracking experience and analysis to identify risk timely.

  • Perform root cause analysis on risk identified to connect experience trends to drivers.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree holder in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields, with progress in actuarial examinations of an internationally recognized actuarial organization.

  • Strong communication skill, both written and oral.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with demanding deadlines.
