Starting Pay: $20/hour
Position Type: Part Time (2-3 days per week) 8:00 - 4:30

As an Activities Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and facilitating recreational activities that bring joy and fulfillment to our residents. Your creativity and compassion will help provide meaningful engagement and improve the quality of life for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing and implementing group and individual activities.
• Ensure that activities are engaging, stimulating, and appropriate for the residents’ interests and abilities.
• Help foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents.
• Collaborate with the activities team to develop new and exciting program ideas.
• Provide one-on-one interaction with residents to encourage participation and socialization.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a healthcare or recreational setting preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate, friendly, and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
