Accounts Payable Specialist

As we continue to innovate, we are seeking a talented and driven Accounts Payable Specialist to join our company.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and verifying invoices and financial statements for accuracy and completion
• Matching invoices with purchase orders or contracts to ensure proper documentation
• Performing invoice and general ledger data entry
• Entering invoice details into the accounting system and allocating expenses to appropriate accounts
• Communicating with vendors and suppliers to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms
• Preparing and processing payment batches, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methods
• Monitoring payment deadlines and resolving any outstanding invoices or payment delays
• Assisting senior accountant officers as needed

Requirements

• Previous working experience as a Accounts Payable Specialist or similar field for at least 1 year,
• BSc/BA in accounting/business administration or similar relevant field will be considered an asset,
• Great attention to detail and confidentiality,
• A strong organizational talent with outstanding ability to solve problems independently,
• Very good communication skills and customer orientation,
• Excellent knowledge of English,
• Excellent PC Literacy (Emphasis in Excel).
