Additional Compensation Details:
- $25- 27/hour
- Potential 90-day performance-based raise
- Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day (FT) - flexible within a window of 6am-6pm
The Role
This is a full time position in our Finance Department under the general supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager. The position is primarily responsible for electronic entry of invoices and maintenance of a set of vendor accounts shared across a team.
Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To:
- Inputting vendor invoice images & data into our electronic payment system
- Identifying and addressing pricing and/or receiving issues with other departments
- Responding in a timely manner to any vendor correspondence, by phone, email, or mail
- Communicating clearly, verbally and in-writing, with all internal and external agencies
- Other related projects or duties as assigned to support the success of the Finance Department
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong data entry skills - typing and 10-key by touch (6,000+KPH)
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- 2+ years of experience in finance-related position or related formal education
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in-writing
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
- Problem- solver who thrives working both independently and collaboratively
- The desire to continue to grow and advance accounting knowledge and skills after the introductory training period
- A high attention to detail, allowing you to recognize inconsistencies and/or inefficiencies in processes, and address them constructively
