A Glimpse into Your New Role
As an Accounts Officer, you will support the Finance Manager with specific finance functions. Your primary responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with levy and invoice issuance, tax lodgments, and providing financial support to Owners Corporation Managers and administrative teams. Your role plays a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and delivering exceptional support.
Your day could see you:
Facilitate accounts payable/receivable transactions and ensure risk-minimizing segregation of duties
Issue Levy Notices, Final Fee Notices, AR invoices, and Special Levies
Assist with Business Activity Statements & Income Tax lodgments
Handle aged debtor and levy-related queries from Owners Corporation Managers and committees
Provide assistance with other related financial queries
Collaborate across departments to ensure timely financial reporting and compliance
What You’ll Bring
A degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles (including accruals and year-end reporting)
Knowledge of statutory legislation and financial regulations
Customer service orientation with a professional and confident demeanor
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines
A team-player attitude with a positive approach to change
