Job description

Ready to lead, disrupt and reinvent the sleep industry?

We are Emma – The Sleep Company. Founded in 2015, we have grown into the world’s largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) sleep brand, with a presence in over 20 markets and more than 35 Emma stores across Europe.

Our mission is simple: to develop sleep comfort products that empower our customers to awaken their best every day. Today, our products are trusted by millions and recommended by leading consumer associations worldwide.

It’s our people who bring this mission to life. At Emma, you’ll join a driven, international team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous knowledge sharing. With colleagues from over 70 nationalities, we combine diverse perspectives with a shared ambition to learn, grow, and create lasting impact, together.

Ready to awaken your best with us?

What you'll do

  • Regional Tax Compliance: Work closely with the Tax & Accounting team to support and ensure the timely submission of tax returns and compliance obligations across Mexico, Brazil, and other Americas jurisdictions.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Review monthly and quarterly financial data, assisting in variance analysis regarding sales, margins, inventories, and operational data across the region to support Management decision-making.
  • Systems & Data Integration: Actively support data-improvement projects and the development of our ERP system (MS Dynamics 365), acting as an interface function between accounting data and our e-commerce platform data.
  • Cross-Border Support: Participate in projects aimed at increasing tax compliance and aligning local accounting processes with global standards (IFRS).
  • Audit & Documentation Support: Assist in gathering, organizing, and reviewing tax certificates and accounting support required for internal audits, external audit firms, or cross-border transactions.

Who we're Looking for

  • Background: Currently pursuing or finishing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Language Skills: Fluent English (both written and spoken) is required, as you will interact with regional and global teams.
  • Technical Skills: Confident in using MS Office, with strong Excel skills for data management and financial analysis. An interest or familiarity with ERP systems (like MS Dynamics 365) is a plus.
  • Mindset: A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, an infectious can-do attitude, and the ability to keep a cool head under tight deadlines.
  • Soft Skills: High sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride in your performance. You enjoy taking initiative, working independently when needed, and collaborating effectively within a multicultural team.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Benefits
  • A combination of personal and company growth to accelerate your career and help you reach your goals
  • The chance to work on exciting and challenging projects either independently or as part of a dedicated, international team
  • Responsibility and decision-making authority from day one—you'll create an impact with new, innovative ideas and help shape our company DNA
  • To work and learn from experts in diverse fields and get to know your team members at exciting company events
