Accounting Intern

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll primarily focus on vendor invoice accounting, bank accounting, and various administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, we are looking for a penultimate or final-year university student available to work 20 hours per week.

 

Within the organization

You’ll report to the Chief Accountant and work closely with Senior Accountants.

 

What you’ll do

• Manage and process vendor invoices
• Perform bank reconciliations and bookkeeping
• Support the finance team with monthly and annual closings
• Assist with general administrative tasks within the finance department
• Support the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Perform ad-hoc tasks like data gathering, supporting regulatory reporting

Ideally, you have

• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Analytical mindset
• Relevant educational background
• Fluency in Hungarian
