Account Representative - High School Student Worker

NJM Insurance:

NJM offers Personal Insurance to individuals to cover auto, homeowners, condominium, renters, and personal umbrella insurance policies to Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania residents. NJM is a direct writer of personal insurance and employs a select group of exclusive agents who support personal insurance policyholders.

Position Overview:

The primary goal of an Account Representative is to deliver an exceptional customer experience while responding to inbound telephone calls from policyholders and administering transactions that do not require an insurance license.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver a high-quality customer experience while interacting with customers and administering transactions.

Provide procedurally accurate, effective, and independent response to existing business inquiries related to Personal Lines Insurance.

Demonstrate effective time management to achieve performance goals, which include completing necessary follow ups and workflow transactions in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

• Recent high school graduate with a diploma

• 18 years or older

• 3.0 GPA or above

• Work or volunteer experience including customer service elements preferred.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Superior listening skills

• Strong multi-tasking ability

• Positive attendance history

• Reliable transportation

• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a home high-speed internet connection.

• Must have a home workspace which is free of noise and distraction.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
