Meta's Small and Medium Business Group connects businesses across the UK and Ireland with their customers through Meta's family of apps and advertising solutions, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of direct advertisers, helping them grow their businesses by leveraging Meta's advertising platform. You will build consultative relationships with clients, identify growth opportunities, and guide advertisers toward the right products and strategies to meet their objectives. This is an opportunity to develop foundational skills in digital advertising sales and account management within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of direct advertiser accounts across the UK and Ireland, with a focus on driving revenue growth and client retention Develop and execute account plans that align Meta's advertising solutions with each client's business goals Educate clients on Meta's advertising products, best practices, and measurement tools to drive product adoption and campaign performance Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the portfolio by analyzing campaign data and client business needs Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, business reviews, and proactive outreach Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product, and operations to deliver solutions that meet client needs Monitor and report on portfolio performance metrics, providing clients with actionable insights to optimize their advertising investment Support clients through the full campaign lifecycle, from strategy and setup through to measurement and optimization Contribute to team knowledge sharing by documenting client learnings, vertical trends, and effective advertising approaches
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in account management, digital advertising sales, or client-facing consulting Experience managing client relationships and delivering against revenue or growth targets Experience analyzing campaign or business performance data and translating findings into clear client recommendations Ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage a portfolio of accounts against defined deadlines and business objectives Experience communicating complex advertising concepts or data-driven insights to clients through presentations or written communications Exposure to CRM tools and sales pipeline management practices Experience working with Meta's advertising platform, including campaign setup, optimization, and measurement tools Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Familiarity with performance marketing concepts such as audience targeting, bidding strategies, and return on ad spend Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses in the UK or Ireland market
