Job Description Summary

As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary contact for public and private healthcare groups in North of Portugal. In this role, you will shape and execute the account strategy, ensuring a strong, trust-based relationship and driving meaningful business outcomes with these key customers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and clinicians, across headquarters and hospitals

  • Drive market share growth, increase revenue, and strengthen the GE HealthCare brand within selected accounts and territories.

  • Develop and execute customer strategies, leading transactions and crafting compelling value propositions that fully leverage GE HealthCare’s capabilities to meet customer needs effectively

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, leading the account community and coordinating deals and long-term strategies that support mutual goals. Drive initiatives that increase market share, boost revenue, and enhance profitability.

  • Harness GE HealthCare’s full international potential by engaging our Partners and Solutions teams, and financial partners to deliver compelling proposals tailored to customer needs.

  • A job at this level requires strong interpersonal skills.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

  • May lead projects with risks and resource requirements.

  • Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.

  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience and/or education in healthcare sector

  • Commercial and project management skills

  • Executive presence and strong interpersonal / communication skills

  • Capacity to build strong trustful relations with C Suites at all levels within the organization

  • Ability to integrate insights across technology and clinical applications, with a keen understanding of industry trends and market demands

  • Capacity to build strong trustful relations with C Suites

  • Preferably with consolidated sales experience and deep knowledge of the hospital market in the north and/or center of Portugal.
