We're looking for an open-minded and dedicated Academic Intern to join our international Information Security & Data Protection Governance team. In this role, you will support our global organization's efforts to further develop our processes and tools. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in information security and data protection governance while contributing to meaningful compliance initiatives within a professional corporate environment.

The responsibilities will be mainly: 

  • Support risk management quality checks through AI-assisted pre-analysis and plausibility checks;
  • Research and summarize new legal or internal requirements;
  • Create awareness and communication materials such as blog posts, news articles, and information packages;
  • Support knowledge management activities and document existing processes for improvement;
  • Assist with audit preparation, ticket management, and action tracking;
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings related to information security and data protection governance;
  • Use AI for research and preliminary analyses while validating results professionally;
  • Implement easy to use office helper tools in VBA, PowerAutomate, PowerBI etc. for process and report management with AI support.

What distinguishes you:

  • Strong interest in the setup of compliance and risk management systems, with practical orientation toward their implementation;
  • Basic understanding of or awareness of information security principles and IT concepts;
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Demonstrated willingness to develop expertise in data protection and compliance topics;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
