Based at Resonant Clinical Services in #Chorley UK, the warehouse operative will work in a fast-paced environment. In this position you will be responsible for a variety of inbound, outbound and IT related tasks as part of our Distribution & Warehouse Operations.

Resonant Clinical Services specialises in the sourcing, supply, service, and end of study support of medical and laboratory equipment for the clinical trial industry. We currently supply specialist medical equipment to all regions of the world and both our customer list and geographical reach is expanding daily.

Role Mission 

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at Resonant Clinical Services in Chorley. Working as part of a passionate and committed team of nine, you will support the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of clinical research materials within a clean, organised, and highly structured warehouse environment. 

This is a full-time, onsite position based at our Buckshaw Village facility, working Monday to Friday. 

Our team plays a critical role in ensuring materials are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time, helping our customers deliver successful clinical research programmes worldwide. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming goods and deliveries

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders and clinical materials for shipment

  • Ensure all shipments are dispatched accurately and in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory using warehouse management systems

  • Conduct stock checks and support inventory management activities to ensure stock accuracy

  • Identify, report, and help resolve any damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies 

  • Move products safely between receiving, storage, and dispatch areas

  • Support returns processing and ensure returned goods are handled appropriately

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment. 

  • Collaborate with colleagues across warehouse and operational teams to meet customer and business requirements

 

What We’re Looking For 

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative who thrives in a structured and quality-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to their work. They will be committed to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and high standards of customer service. 

 

Essential skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment

  • Experience with picking and packing, goods receipt, dispatch, and returns processes

  • Knowledge of stock control and inventory management procedures

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable, dependable, and proactive approach to work

  • Ability to perform the physical duties associated with warehouse operations

  • Experience using SAP or other ERP systems

 

Desirable (but not essential): 

  • Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and valid truck certification

  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as healthcare, clinical research, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors is a plus

  • Knowledge of warehouse quality, compliance, and safety standards

  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
