Job Description & Duties:


Collaborate with other key communicators and business line partners to develop, evolve and govern the WBR intranet/portal and other digital platforms. This position serves as the overall project lead, serving as the bridge between the technology and business needs of the division’s internal stakeholders. The role champions the platforms driving adoption and usage and is responsible for day-to-day management and planning. Responsible for managing select line of business intranet and portal publishing requirements and serving as WBR''s liaison to enterprise level committees on intranets, portals and internal social collaboration. Responsible for intranet governance and appropriate use.


Responsible for managing a staff of 5 who are engaged in one or more key aspects of product management, marketing, or creative for an e-business area with high impact to the organization''s strategic success, e.g. developing new products and product enhancements designing and enhancing the website and developing website content developing product pricing and distribution strategies identifying potential alliance partners, negotiating alliances and vendor contracts, and managing alliance and vendor relationships.


Helps establish overall direction and strategic focus of e-business, including setting goals in key areas. Provides direction to other product/marketing areas, technology, customer care, other organizational units, alliance partners and vendors to support achievement of overall product and website objectives on both a project and ongoing basis. Exercises the usual authority of a manager in recruiting and developing team members and managing resources for an individual department or departments.


Position can be located in San Francisco, Charlotte, St. Louis or Minneapolis.


Job Requirements & Qualifications:


Basic Qualifications


8+ years e-business experience.



Minimum Qualifications


Proven track record of delivering results and achieving goals Excellent project management and process skills with experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to form effective working relationships with people at all levels of the organization Ability to coach and consult with top senior leaders regarding communications strategy and execution Ability to develop metrics, reports and track success 7-10+ years of experience in a high-impact, fast paced corporate environment, prior management experience, with a background in financial services strongly preferred Experience leading teams and managing people, as well as running digital platforms in a large organization Applicant meets the basic qualifications in the job description
