Job description
Currently recruiting for experienced transport co-ordinators to work for a well established client based in south Birmingham.
Paying a competitive salary, working Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm with occasional overtime. My client is offering great career progression with in a fantastic team environment and nice fresh building.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Being aware of requirements before passing out work
- Build excellent working relationships with drivers
- Co-ordinate breakdowns
- To manage drivers time by giving additional work throughout the day
- Keep all departments up to date with any issues or delays and manage customer expectation to achieve service level.
- Quality administration, keeping all departments up to date
- To be aware of individual drivers skills and abilities
- Provide out of hour’s emergency cover on a rota basis normally with 54 days
- Provide meetings with drivers to build rapport and outline any issues
- Deal with any driver dissatisfaction
- Ensure all work on the system is planned and allocated
- Other ad-hoc duties
