Surface Finishing Assistant

Role and Responsibilities

West One Technology are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to assist with the colour anodizing process which include sulphuric anodizing and polishing of mobile phone casings.

This role includes:

• Preparation of chemicals and equipment
• Polishing
• Testing materials

Skills required:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Listening skills and to have the ability to take directions/instructions well

• Using and understanding chemicals and chemistry
• Using solutions
• Working with chemicals such as sulphuric, nitric and caustic solutions
• Screen printing
• Anodising
• Metal Polishing

The ideal candidate should have some experience in quality control and must be a hands-on individual as this is a practical role which will require you to get your hands dirty.

PPE is also required when working in this position, which shall be issued by the Company.

This role would ideally suit someone who is comfortable with monotonous work.

This is a full time position working from 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, £8.21 per hour.

This is a temp to perm position. A permanent contract will be issued to successful candidates within 4 to 6 weeks following training.
