The Role

Our Client based in Torbay/Torquay requires Full time and Part time support workers to help vulnerable people to manage their daily activities and to live as independently as possible in a purpose built residential service. 

Required Criteria - Essential

·Minimum of 3 years paid experience in the UK working as a rehabilitation support worker

·Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written

·Have the right to work in the UK and a National insurance number

·Have evidence of mandatory training certificates in date within the last 12 months (or willing to undergo training)

·Must have a clear Enhanced DBS that is registered online

·Be able to provide 2 professional care references covering 3 years

·Must have an up to date CV with no gaps

·Confident character with good energy 

Required Criteria – Desirable

·Medication trained

·NVQ in Health and Social Care

·Driver

·IT literate

·Ability to work days and night shifts

·Commitment to professional development 

Skills specific to role

·Experience of acquired brain injury

·Experience in rehabilitation
