Job description

Lightspeed Systems is expanding its global presence and is seeking a Strategic Account Director to lead enterprise growth across key international education markets. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with ministries of education, large school networks, and global education partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will drive international expansion by developing enterprise growth strategies, managing complex cross-border sales cycles, and representing Lightspeed in global education forums.

ABOUT YOU

  • Develop and execute enterprise growth strategies across designated international regions.
  • Engage ministries of education, large private school networks, and international education consortiums.
  • Lead complex cross-border sales cycles and strategic procurement processes.
  • Build relationships with global partners, resellers, and channel alliances.
  • Represent Lightspeed at international conferences, summits, and education leadership forums.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within multinational or global customer accounts.
  • Provide market insights and strategic feedback to leadership, product, and go-to-market teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or education markets.
  • Experience selling internationally or working with government or large consortium structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to operate across time zones and travel internationally.
  • Experience working across multiple international education markets.
  • Background in government procurement or ministry-level education programs.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships or channel relationships globally.
