What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of warehouse goods, including receiving, handling, dispatch and stock-take of Zimmer Biomet products and related materials.

This role also provides a customer focused response to internal and external customer queries to ensure Zimmer Biomet’s standards are met. The incumbent will also be expected to demonstrate an ability to anticipate problems in the workplace and take appropriate corrective action to ensure customer needs are met.

Lastly, the incumbent will be required to actively support ongoing improvements to warehousing processes and to proactively assist team members during periods of peak workload or where challenges are experienced.

How You'll Create Impact

Receiving

  • Receive goods and ensure all goods received are booked in and located in a timely manner
  • Process goods returned

Materials Handling

  • Pick, check, pack and ship customer orders, internal orders and other consignments
  • Receive, unload, record, place and distribute incoming shipments
  • Open, close and ensure the security of the warehouse environment
  • Respond to internal and external customer queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Replenish all non-stock distribution materials
  • Assemble urgent orders as required
  • Ensure all goods shipped meet quality standards
  • Ensure any stock discrepancies and anomalies are identified, rectified or reported to management where required

What Makes You Stand Out

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Appropriate technical (TAFE) qualification or compensating work experience

The candidate would ideally have the following level of experience in, or knowledge of;

  • At least 3 years warehouse and distribution experience, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Use of electronic bar-code and inventory systems, ideally including SAP
  • Experience in a cycle counting environment, including discrepancy investigation
