The vacancy of Senior Sous at this stunning Country House Hotel is an opportunity to produce fantastic, modern and vibrant dishes using local produce and work alongside a close-knit team in a beautiful location. This role is really focussed on food and you will be given the creative freedom to champion the fantastic produce that Northumberland has to offer in your own unique style.
This multiple-accolade awarded Hotel is one of several within a small, nationwide family of boutique hotels which has a fantastic approach to training, developing and supporting its staff, they are able to assist with relocation and offer good work-life balance. This hotel is in a stunning rural location but is only a short drive from Newcastle meaning that a commute would be possible.
We are looking for candidates with;
- A Passion for great produce and a knowledge of seasonal ingredients and how to use them throughout the year
- Experience working in a position of Junior Sous Chef or higher in a business working at a high standard
- A stable work history in which any short-stays can be explained due to valid reasons
- A Great attitude to hard-work and a close team, a natural ability to communicate well
