Job description

Job Bridge Global is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Static to join our client's team. In this senior role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of static equipment projects within the engineering and construction sectors. You will leverage your expertise to ensure that projects meet technical specifications, timelines, and budgets while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of static equipment projects, ensuring adherence to project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate the design, procurement, and installation of static equipment, including pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare regular updates, and report to stakeholders on milestones, budget status, and potential issues.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and project team members.
  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate successful project execution.
  • Review and approve design specifications, engineering reports, and related project documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices related to static equipment and project engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer in static equipment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of static equipment design, specifications, and installation practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with contract management and negotiation (preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
