We are a collective of forward-thinking people, driven to challenge the travel industry and ourselves to bring ever better travel experiences to our customer community.

Awarded as one of the 'Best Places to Work’ by the AFR; employee experience is king here, with lunches provided 5 days a week, an onsite gym with premium change facilities, weekly events, the opportunity to experience the travel we offer and significant professional development opportunities - we go above and beyond to make every workday something to look forward to!

We are looking for a Senior Manager - Cruise to lead the day-to-day commercial performance and continued growth of Luxury Escapes' Cruise business.

This is a high-autonomy commercial role with ownership across cruise product, partnerships, promotions, distribution, platform capability and operational delivery. You will work closely with senior cruise line and industry partners while leading cross-functionally across Marketing, Revenue, Technology, Operations, Customer Service and Finance to turn our Cruise strategy into strong commercial outcomes.

You will own both live trading performance and the forward 6 to 12 month commercial plan, identifying new opportunities, negotiating compelling customer propositions and building the processes and capability required to materially scale Cruise at Luxury Escapes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Own the commercial performance of the Cruise vertical, delivering against revenue, margin, sales and growth targets.
  • Build and drive the forward 6 to 12 month Cruise product, promotional and commercial calendar across always-on product, major campaigns, destinations and new opportunities.
  • Lead senior relationships and commercial negotiations with cruise lines, wholesalers and industry partners across pricing, margin, overrides, marketing contributions and broader supplier terms.
  • Use sales, customer and product performance data to identify growth opportunities, address underperformance and make proactive commercial decisions.
  • Grow and optimise Cruise distribution across Luxury Escapes channels to maximise reach, sales and yield.
  • Own the Cruise marketing pipeline, partnering with Marketing and CRM to drive demand, conversion and campaign performance.
  • Lead Cruise technology and platform priorities with Product and Technology teams, improving capability, booking flows and scalability.
  • Drive operational improvements across the customer and partner journey, removing bottlenecks and improving fulfilment and customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functionally across the business while providing accurate forecasting and forward-looking commercial recommendations based on performance, market trends and industry developments.
  • Build the processes, commercial disciplines and industry presence required to scale Cruise, representing Luxury Escapes at trade shows, conferences, ship inspections and partner meetings.

What we are looking for:

  • Significant cruise industry experience with a strong understanding of cruise product, distribution and commercial models.
  • Established senior relationships across cruise lines, wholesalers and the broader cruise industry.
  • Strong commercial judgement with demonstrated ownership of revenue, margin and business performance.
  • A successful track record negotiating complex supplier agreements and commercial terms.
  • Experience developing pricing, promotional and product strategies that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • A proactive and independent operating style, with the ability to identify priorities and drive execution without close supervision.
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence using performance data to make commercial decisions.
  • Experience improving processes, systems or operating models to enable growth and scale.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with credibility at senior levels internally and externally.
  • Strong organisational capability, ambition and leadership potential, with the ability to manage competing priorities and grow into broader commercial leadership over time.

Our Perks & Benefits:

  • First-class health and wellbeing program, including onsite facilities in selected offices, with breakfast and catered lunch provided five days a week.
  • A fun and flexible working environment with regular team events and celebrations.
  • A dynamic, entrepreneurial business where you can have genuine ownership and impact.
  • Generous staff, friends and family travel discounts, plus birthday leave.
  • The opportunity to work directly with some of the world's leading cruise brands and play a central role in scaling one of Luxury Escapes' key growth verticals.
