Aureol Global Connections is expanding and is currently seeking 5 talented Quantity Surveyors to join our team. In these key roles, you will be responsible for managing budget estimations, cost control, and financial management across various construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure that costs are controlled and that projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in quantity surveying will be crucial in maximizing financial efficiency, conducting site visits, and providing accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Monitor project expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents, including Bills of Quantities and contract submissions.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify financial challenges or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Provide support and expertise in resolving financial disputes and contractual issues.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management principles and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost assessment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities for interacting with clients and contractors.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus, but not essential.
