Job Summary

A great opportunity for a Procurement Business Partner to join our team at Domain (part of CoStar Group) during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Partnering directly with our Technology and Product teams, this role will play a critical role in enabling Domain's strategic objectives through the delivery of commercial value, effective risk management, and exceptional stakeholder experiences. Working closely with senior leaders across Domain and CoStar Group, you will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert procurement, sourcing and commercial guidance across a diverse portfolio of technology, software, SaaS, data, infrastructure and professional services spend.

As part of a customer-obsessed Procurement function, you will build strong relationships across the business, champion early procurement engagement, and help optimise investment decisions by balancing commercial outcomes, innovation, speed to market and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, influencing decisions up to Executive level and ensuring procurement strategies align with business priorities.

  • Partner with Senior and Executive Leadership teams to provide commercial advice, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.

  • Act as the primary procurement advisor for assigned business units, supporting planning, sourcing, vendor management and commercial decision-making.

  • Drive early procurement engagement across the business, improving stakeholder experience and maximising value outcomes.

  • Lead and support sourcing activities, including RFx processes, vendor evaluations, onboarding and contract renewals.

  • Facilitate and lead commercial negotiations, ensuring value, service quality and risk objectives are achieved.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimisation, operational efficiencies, innovation and process improvement.

  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to establish productive, value-focused partnerships.

  • Support the implementation of procurement policies, governance processes and change initiatives across the organisation.

  • Provide market intelligence and insights on suppliers, industry trends, emerging technologies and commercial opportunities.

  • Monitor supplier performance and support the resolution of commercial issues, disputes and service concerns.

  • Develop procurement strategies and sourcing approaches that balance commercial outcomes, stakeholder needs and business objectives.

  • Champion procurement best practice and educate stakeholders on procurement processes and value creation opportunities.

  • Measure and communicate procurement outcomes, including value delivered, risk mitigation and supplier performance improvements.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve procurement capability, processes and stakeholder experience.

About You

  • At least 5 years' experience in a Procurement Business Partner, Procurement Advisor, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management or similar role, preferably within a digital, e-Commerce, technology or fast-growth organisation, supporting Technology, Product or Digital functions.

  • Experience negotiating complex technology agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, data products and professional services arrangements.

  • Strong understanding of technology procurement principles, commercial models, licensing structures and supplier ecosystems.

  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation, including Executive and Senior Leadership teams.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience evaluating business cases, supplier proposals and commercial trade-offs.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, agile and evolving environments.

  • Strong problem-solving capability and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Experience managing sourcing initiatives end-to-end, including RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract execution.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes through collaboration, influence and data-driven decision making.
